Went on the lake last night around 6:30 and it was so blazing hot I could barely handle it. Caught just a few fish but not enough for a fry.

My brother is going out Monday or Tuesday morning and he might catch some for us to cook up.

I did it by hand with a turbo tip..... my surface cleaner is weaksause...cleans about 60% as well as the turbo tip
All done did the whole thing today....have too many other projects on the list...lol

Yes. Not sure you remember, but during the harsh Winter last year, I saw many of them here. Swarms. One even landing on my hand while I was holding my phone.

Cuties. They love berries and fruits. Apparently they migrate up to even Canada in the Summer.

These are actual photos I took of them because before that I had never seen them before.

I was looking for them this year, but they never showed. They are nomadic dependent upon their favorite food - fruits and berries.

I think that Nick Faldo does a good job, but to be honest, I would rather listen to Ian Baker Finch as analyst. CBS had the GOAT lineup when they had David Feherty & Gary McCord.

More nice pics in here. Cedar Waxwings always look so distinguished. Fun fack the little fukkers are known to be drunks. I came across a flock of them one year some stumbling around on the ground under a mountain ash that was covered with berries.

Had a flock in the back yard yesterday but they appeared sober

So, I had 1 apple, had some shortening, had some sugar, had some flour and had some ice water.

I made a pie. It was alright, but a little on the dry side. Kind of like my humor. Kind of like going to a restaurant and ordering the pie and telling the waitress: "Hey, baby, can please please take this back and get me some vanilla ice cream? I would appreciate that."

Gregg: Not sure what you said there lol but you picked a song that takes me back to my first job and it was far away from anywhere. 3hr drive to get there, leaving my bf in the city. I would get up at 4am on a Monday lol Crazy to think about it now. The semi- trailers and road trains used to speed passed me and I was going a little faster than I should have been, now that was scary especially during winter as you could not see anything when they did that. Water spraying everywhere! Which always gave the car huge resistance while driving, had to hang onto the steering wheel tight I could see them coming behind me with their huge beams on, lighting the surrounding...well before the truck came into view. I got used to it but they were always flashing me on the highway because they think they owned the roads.

Very lonely traveling at this time but the towns along the way had cops waiting for me haha ...DOH I learnt pretty fast where the speed signs were The little car was amazing and ran on the smell of an oily rag. This is it(see pic), except there was nothing B&W about it..it was blue and a brilliant car to drive. A mechanic once said to me as it was heading towards it's 20th birthday, that it was an exceptional car. I loved that car and eventually sold it, never did get another...I like to think that it was because I couldn't bring myself to replace one so perfect

this is mainly bragging rights to whose course you play....4 courses are represented...every Wednesday is a different course...we had a home match...no contest...the other team that won was hometown guys....we are tough to beat..

I'm out of it at one course as I'm too young to play....they put me off the back tees....500 yards to make up is tough.

Good group of old fuks
