It's what old people do....quite the exciting day ahead

I appreciate the well wishes although I have 4 more to go to 60........the weather was nice yesterday though.....
You could have had a standing gig at Put-in-bay along side "Pat Dailey" with your original music....500-750 people a night....good times back in the dayRetired...no smartphone....no neighbors......just holes...

I've never been to Detroit....I'll likely keep it that way.
I retired just short of 64....I feel blessed (figure of speech only)
Sorry....I misunderstood your sig.
Ignore me....I saw your sig and thought to self....'oh, cool, an opportunity to pimp my song writing drivel to a non-existent fan base' (and 'fan' is singular!...I'm a failure)

Ha....I hear you.
Obviously I've been 'confused' all morning.
Oh...you mean something like one of these I'd guess:

Good morning everybody. MT, appreciate the advice
I know Bald Eagles are a dime a dozen where most of you live, but where I am, they are rare. One was in my tree right next to the house yesterday evening when I was coming out. I heard him first, leap off the limb and fly way out over the lake. Such a beautiful bird. This one was mature with the white head, white tail and golden body, but a young mature, because even though it was big, it wasn't as big as I have seen them. Nevertheless, a good sight to see.Helping one person may not change the world, but it could change the world for one person.

Right on Mark, that's just great. how lucky were you huh? they are amazing birds and always a treat to see. good for you. Was bird hunting one time, turned a corner and spooked one off a rabbit it had killed, I jumped in the bush about 20 feet away from it's kill and waited, after a few minutes it came in and I got to watch it feed, it had that Rabbit gone in a couple of minutes, was pretty cool. Here is a couple of shots I have gotten of a pair a couple of years ago.

^^MT, thanks for posting. Those are amazing pics. Hard to get that close.
I don't know if it is a territorial thing or what, but I know just 30 minutes from here there are some Golden Eagles on a lake, but I have never seen one here. Doesn't mean they haven't been here. I just know they do not have nests near here.
MT, that one must be fully mature with the two-toned feathers. No telling how old it is. Maybe 10+ years?Helping one person may not change the world, but it could change the world for one person.

These little fellas come around this time of year in small swarms. They are very cute.
While I was trying to take a pic with my phone, one flew to me and lit on my finger and phone for 5 seconds. Very cool.
Wish I had a better digital camera.

Good morning Mark and all.
Nice shots. Wax wings are one of my favorites, I found a several Cedar Wax wings on the ground one time under a mountain ash, little bass turds were drunk. They ate the berries which were fermented and they got tipsy. They always look so prim and proper, very neat bird.
