Werent MS the first ones who did these timed exclusive content last gen? I remember them doing it a lot. I bet both Sony and MS try to pay them, but developers pick those with a higher fanbase.

Yup, Rise of the Tomb Raider. MS was the bigger offender leading up to and early on last gen for sure. But it's all business, they needed it more with how bad their launch was and they had ton of Xbox360 profits laying around.

Everyone tries to get exclusive deals but I think we'll see more from Sony this gen as their console is weak AF so buying exclusive titles and content makes sense. Best hardware means little without content. Also Sony had much higher profits than MS last gen to pay people off. Lastly it's pretty clear MS's strategy is quantity over quality value through Game Pass and XCloud.

The Suicide Squad movie was one of the worst pieces of chit I've ever seen, I can't muster any excitement for a SS video game after that...

Their Arkham games weren't based on the Nolan films. I doubt this game has anything to do with the Snyder inspired trainwreck.

There's an incoming SS movie directed by the Guardians of the Galaxy dude so that might spice things up.

Watch Batman Assault on Akrham and Suicide Squad Hell to Pay for some good stories and SS done right. Don't judge SS by the ****ty movie. Rocksteady will nail it.
