    Is it ok to to just do w/e lifts you want after your routine?

    Lets say I wanna do some more bench press is it ok to spend another hour at the gym doing bench press even though I finished my chest routine?

    Or any other lifts b/c I just wanna do it?

    it it bad b/c it's adding on top of routine and gonna make my muscles go bad?

    imo, not optimal because you did what you need to do and youre putting further strain on your cns when its better to just recover for your future workouts
