This thread is pretty eye opening, and a lot of interesting points made
https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showt...hp?t=178786211
Now a question I think every man on here can benefit from; how do we prevent ourselves from getting into the cycle/get ourselves out?
Some of the basics
1. No porn
2. No video games
Obviously, theres a lot more to it than this.
Share your tips *******s and lettuce benefit. As men who enjoy physical discomfort (lifting) and generally are disciplined (at least compared to the average person), we should be leading the charge on this.

This 100%
The problem is that men who opt of the system do it because there is little incentive to join, and once they're out, it's humiliating AF to rejoin reality. The only solution for this widespread problem is work programs like the Civilian Conservation Corps under FDR. You know what makes young men feel good? Ambitious passion. You know how to imbue a generation with that? Building a fukking dam. Or a bridge. Or whatever. Gives a man purpose.

Enforced Monogomy
We all know the 80-20 rule by now. As long as it is socially acceptable for women to have multiple sexual partners, the most attractive dudes will have harems of women while the least attractive dudes won’t even have a chance. The only way to fix it is for people to start judging women again for slooting around. It won’t change until there’s consequences. We have to get back to monogamy again, or there will always be a large percentage of men who check out because they simply have no chance of competing.
Here’s what you can do:
Sloot Shaming - Make sloots feel bad for being sloots
No Simping - Do not reward these sloots for being sloots
Join the No Hymen No Diamond Crew - Do not commit to a sloot who has taken miles of dink. Dying alone is better than marrying a sloot.Smack City crew

Having a sense of dignity and self-respect, and remaining humble.
A lot of the forever aloners which that thread was mainly targeting lack having dignity, lack self-respect, or have too much pride. At first that sounds contradictory but it’s having a balance between the two sides.
The FA needs to have the drive and motivation that stems from having dignity and self-respect to make money and have a decent standard of living for the society they are living in. At the same time they need to have humility to take jobs that they may deem beneath them, in order to boost themselves up.
So the question to me is, how do you instill in someone to learn to have dignity and respect for oneself?

Being physically active and disciplined or even good student/hard worker doesn’t mean **** today. Society is punishing good old masculine behavior.
What men need is:
1-a good paying job that is enough to support a comfortable lifestyle.
2-a healthy relationship with females.
There is nothing we can do to give provide those things for them because:
1-Companies are pushed to hire females over more qualified and highly skilled men because of the diversity meme and even if you had a good paying job you will be walking on eggshells every day just so you don’t get metooed or canceled for no reason.
2-women will not settle down until it’s too late because they are supported and celebrated for any trivial thing they do, they have access to better men than average(online dating) they can make $100k a month just for existing (twitch,YouTube, onlyfans).
This leaves the average man in a mediocre job, with a mountain of debt and no savings or a property and no gf/wife. The only way to fix this is to fix the economy, culture and provide fair opportunities for young men.

I have posted about this before. Men have to collectively change today's society, clearly it isnt going to magically fix itself. My starting point would be to make the following physical feats as requirements for any healthy capable man between 18-40 years old (srs).
-Bench max of 205
-Squat max of 222
-8 minute mile
-10 pull ups
Im serious. If you have a bunch of fit, athletic, motivated and confident young men walking around, society will DRASTICALLY improve. Lets get the test raising srs."The flowers bloom, then wither... The stars shine and one day become extinct. This earth, the sun, the galaxies and even the big universe, someday will be destroyed. Compared with that, the human life is only a blink, just a little time. In that short time - people are born, laugh, cry, fight, are injured, feel joy, sadness, hate someone, love someone. All in just a moment. And then, are embraced by the eternal sleep called death."

That would be a great idea. There’s plenty of infrastructure projects that need to be done in the United States. The USA should allocate $500 billion of its annual budget for 5 years to infrastructure projects and those jobs would have to go to an American citizen. (The $500 billion figured was assuming that the total cost to build/repair/modernize needed infrastructure would be $2.5 trillion, I have no idea if that’s the number to build/repair/modernize, just that around 10% of the federal budget goes to that project)
This would get those people working and get our needed infrastructure projects completed.

I agree that religion was very good at making people act in a way that was healthy for society, however religion also asks you to believe in a bunch of magical fairytale bullchit. People are not gullible enough to believe that chit anymore so society is quickly moving away from religion and it’s not gonna go back. But as we let go of religion we also let go of our morals. Something needs to replace religion. I don’t know what, but I hope there’s some way to get people to have morals and decency without the threat of eternal damnation.

The tide's coming in, and all you can do is run for higher ground.
The biggest thing that scares me tbh is automation. Cause mark my words, the next 10 years are going to be WILD. Seen some chit that's currently in the pipeline, and ho lee fuk. It's going to be like a Rona Recession that never ends.
For example, I don't even apply for test engineer jobs any more, because I helped program some software to replace them in 20 FUKKING 17. Some program where you wrote down "I want to do these tests", then it wrote all the C++ code to do it and created a design for a test board automatically. So then it's just plug n play - you manufacture the board at a PCB fab, put it on the tester, load up the pre-written code, and the testing machine will get all your data for you. A $30K/yr technician can handle it all rather than an $80K/yr engineer.
Did that program work well? Nope. Wrong about 60% of the time. But will I bet my last dollar that ML has upped those numbers between now and when I last used it? Absolutely. So applying to be a test engineer writing test plans and designing PCBs now feels like trying to become a travel agent in 1998. Your job's not gone yet, but if you're paying attention, you can see the train barreling down the tunnel.
And that's a STEM lrn2code job being automated away. Everyone's like "ohhh, go to STEM if you want to have a job!" - even those jobs are going to start shrinking. There's been white papers written that estimated that 47% of jobs currently held could be automated by 2035 The first group that's going to be hit by this automation wave are entry level workers, and the young people who fill those roles are going to be left with sweet fuk-all.
My gameplan is A. get in on the ground floor before automation washes those jobs away, and hopefully get an advancement in the next 10 years (managers, senior employees and shot callers aren't going to automate themselves), and B. buy as much real estate and stock as possible while I still have the chance. Stockholders are going to be the real winners from this - corporate profits are going to EXPLODE once their labor costs get cut in half, and that will go out to the shareholders as dividends. Get on the winning team while you can. Likewise, residential real estate isn't going to stop becoming less profitable while the population keeps expanding, and it won't at least in the short term.
Tens of millions of young men are inevitably going to lose the game due to forces beyond their control, and the blowback from that is going to be enormous. Ie, chicks don't want to screw an unemployed guy who can't provide, men literally having no purpose to work for, men can't afford to start families, etc. All I can do is try to not be one of the statistics.FA Crew

Wanna know a problem?
Brotherhood is dead. That is the problem, most specifically White men.
White men hate other White men. White men hate being in and seen in gatherings with other White men. Society has attempted to train us this way, a LOT of white men fall for it, thinking if they are friends with other whites, then they will be Nazi's and we can't be that so they would rather be alone, then they realize, holy **** I am alone because mexicans stick with mexicans, blacks stick with blacks, asians stick with asians... but whites do NOT stick with whites.
If a real race war, 4 way death match went down, Mexicans vs Whites vs Asians vs Blacks... the white team would kill themselves so they can't be racist, half of the whites would attack the other half, no question. No other race or culture of people give two ****s about this stuff, only whites.
Thus most White males are completely lost. They were told their whole lives being with other white men is evil because you will become a Nazi! They bought into it and even now, as they are adults, they still buy it.
The most checked out LDAR group is white men.
I specifically state whites in this because this forum is like 99% white.
You must have either a woman/kids/family or friends/brotherhood or both. The people checked out have NONE.

I have thought about this before and tbh its a deeper issue that spans back, the train is already moving. But I can be idealistic and these are the things I believe would help
-Mandatory physicality. Like Ken O said having mandatory strength standards or at least much more of an emphasis on physical health and strength for men
-Hormones in the food need to go. More natural organic foods from birth/childhood into teenage years will help all men develop so much better
-Educating men in self development, philosophy, and mindfulness.
-Getting rid of porn/onlyfans
Maybe a bomb that wipes out a lot of tech then going into a massive war would help too tbh

Overall, I like you’re thinking and it appears that you’ve put a lot thought into it. I agree with you on holding real estate as an investment, but I don’t think that the stock market will boom as much as you’re anticipating, precisely because of automation. The US has huge B2C businesses. So if the labor pool is shrinking due to automation, then that means people won’t have as much money, so won’t be spending as much, therefore B2C companies are hit hard and falling value on the stock market.
Sure if you pick your stocks right on some company that does heavy automation or revolutionizing the industry then you could make a ton of money, but that’s just for like anything.
