I pointed out it’s a skill, that is why an emcee will make more in one year than most men will ever make in 10 lifetimes. And now that I’m grown i am free to talk back to and disagree with my dad now. He said they only need to Talk fast and that they play no instruments so it took no skill.. then I said, “Then you do it, dad. Spit a rhyme; let’s hear you rip the mic, and then I will admit you were always right that rap takes no talent.”

yes there's skill involved, but im not gonna argue its artistic merit, i personally dont care for it. Regardless of that argument, Its just ironic that the most chauvinistic music ever created is beloved by liberals that want to "take down the patriarchy" and non-stop whine about sexism.
