Is it because they have no moral compass, no value systems?

It's because religion is a lie and the worldviews of most major religions are ancient metaphysics and physics that do not agree with what we know about the universe. They have been used to justify atrocities and irrational superstition.
It doesn't mean religion is useless. Quite the contrary. Religion is the lie u tell a child so he behaves. Most children just never outgrow this.

they believe in secularism - separation of religion and government
mainly christianity because it's the dominant religion of the West. Those who don't follow it are more likely to feel oppressed by it. Especially when the religious try to implement their beliefs into politics (teach only creationism in schools).
Einstein: "I do not share the crusading spirit of the professional atheist whose fervor is mostly due to a painful act of liberation from the fetters of religious indoctrination received in youth."

I don’t need fear of eternal suffering to force me into being a good person. That’s why I can humbly admit I’m better than you.
I don’t really give a **** who is religious and who is not. I don’t believe any government policy should be dictated based on religion of any kind. The same people who get offended for having to see LGBQ stuff in the mainstream are also probably perfectly okay with Christianity blasted all over the place. It’s hypocritical to be offended by one thing but also forcing your own beliefs onto others.

Calling belief in God a fairytale is one of those points that really shows you don’t have a clue what belief in God is and what notions of who God is, to people of faith, entail. I am being serious. You very literally don’t know what it is you are mocking.
Agreed though, you have a right to your belief or lack of.

Weird thing to say considering that conservatives by in large are higher earners, more attractive, have better jobs, live in better areas, and are in general happier.
From the party that brought you classic myths such as Russian collusion and widespread police brutality against minorities. The irony is delicious."At the core of liberalism is the spoiled child - miserable, as all spoiled children are, unsatisfied,
demanding, ill-disciplined, despotic and useless. Liberalism is a philosophy of sniveling brats."
