michael thomas for sure, not nearly versatile enough to be in the best receiver conversation. He's been targeted 17 times 20+ yards down the field in the last 2 seasons combined (326 targets total). good defenses can make him ineffective, he was completely ineffective vs. the rams and vikings the last 2 playoffs

Thomas is better. In fact, no WR in the history of the NFL has caught footballs better than him. And Larry Fitzgerald is better than Hopkins (at catching), so nah.
Sure, Thomas definitely benefits but that's not the question. You also can't say that without mentioning Julio, who also has a good QB. Pointless even bringing it up because we don't know how either of them would do without their QBs. EVERY. SINGLE. PLAYER. IS. A. SYSTEM. PLAYER. So ****ing tired of saying that.AcetylCoA gets reps

The NFL top 100 is largely based off stats when it comes to skill positons. No one in the league was better than Lamar on paper last year. Granted, it's obvious guys like Mahomes, Wilson, ect are better QBS, when you get into that argument it can get subjective. Statistically speaking Lamar was the best QB in the league last year.
Now, your point about fizzling out is very possible. QBs who rely on their legs don't typically have consistent elite seasons, but what you're saying is an assumption. Right now, Jackson definitely is not over-rated given his body of work so far.6'1 - 240lbs

Have you watched Dallas games? Zeke excels in all aspects expected of a RB. He can block, he has speed, elusive, power and can catch. He does everything extremely well. The only flaw in his game last year was being out of shape, which affected his top end speed. First 3 seasons, once he got to the second level he was not getting caught from behind.
Only all around backs better are CMC and Barkley.
In 4 years Zeke has won 2 rushing titles, had 40 TDS and averages 4.6 YPC. He almost surpassed 1K yards in 10 games during his suspension season.6'1 - 240lbs

Murray also had a great season in Tennesse before his wheels burnt out. He was just a good, power runner. Kamara is not a better runner than Zeke nor as powerful. Faster yes, more agile, yes, better pass catcher yes, but better all around? No.
All around RB Zeke is top 5 with ease, and top 3 in many most people's lists. Zeke also has one attribute that cannot be coached/learned. Durability. Only time he missed was due to his suspension.6'1 - 240lbs

demarco was a good player, going into that big season he had already shown ability + some decent hands. injuries bugged him his first 2-3 years. also had success in tennessee later on. i wouldn't say him being great w/ that OL hurts zeke's case
i can't call zeke or michael thomas overrated when they've been so productive for a good 4 years now. consistent production combined with volume and opportunity. sure part of it's the system they're in but not fair to hold that against them
overrated WR would be odell, who talked his way out of new york after signing a contract w/ them. hurt many times, drama left and right, disappeared in his only playoff game, stunk last season. curious to see how he does now that he's supposedly 100% healthy.

Came to post Thomas.
If you give Brees a big target to throw to down the seam, they produce. BRB no name like Marques Colston, nearly 10,000 career yards. BRB Jimmy Graham ripped off 4 straight 85+ catch seasons, then went to Seattle and never looked the same again. Thomas is just the next guy in that system. He would be an average #2 if he was drafted anywhere else.
Brady is also fukking washed at this point and is arguably a downgrade from Jameis. Granted, you're not going to win a lot of games when your quarterback is throwing 30 interceptions, but comparing Winston's arm to Brady's at this point is like comparing a V8 Charger to a Yugo. Brady's completion percentage and yards per attempt just collapsed last year.
I'll put it like this: Brady is a worse Teddy Bridgewater at this point in his career.
If TB had signed Bridgewater, people would have yawned and gone "oh well, 'nuther 8-8 season coming up". But because of Brady's past glories in the house that Belichick built, low IQ brainlets think "SUPER BOWL!"FA Crew

Pretty sure this thread is about overrated players, not franchises or anything else TP Timmy is babbling about.
Also LMFAO at Dr. Villain shaking Lunatic's core beliefs by telling him Thomas is overrated. The billionaire and the beggar both have 24 hours in a day.
