Jadeveon Clowney
He got all of 3 sacks last year and they put him at #41 on the NFL top 100? Ahead of Fletcher Cox, Zadarius Smith and Myles Garrett.
The Texans traded him away relatively cheaply, the Seahawks didnt resign or tag him, and he's still sitting as a free agent this far. If he was genuinely a league top 10 pass rusher teams would be all over him

Lead the league in touchdowns, broke the all time record for QB rushing yards, had a passer rating basically equal to Patrick Mahomes 50 and 5000 MVP year while throwing to literally the worst WR corps in the league
Sure nobody would take him over Mahomes right now, but based on last year you can't argue that he deserved at least top 36'1, 205 lbs

Yeah, it's hard to argue Lamar Jackson wasn't the best player in the league last year. The top 100 is listing the best players from the previous year. Statistically, his season was off the charts.
Mahomes is easily the better QB, and the best player in the league, but his 2018-2019 campaign was so insane that his 2019-2020 season seemed like a "regression", when in reality his stats were still ridiculous.6'1 - 240lbs

Rodgers went from being in GOAT conversations to winning a single SB and constantly being problematic for his team.
He's like TO minus the athleticism, GOAT career, and heterosexual orientation. The billionaire and the beggar both have 24 hours in a day.

The amount of attention on sports talk on whether he should be paid or not is ridiculous. He's about a Kirk Cousins level player.
Being in New England and following the Patriots, I never understood the Tedy Bruschi hype from fellow Pats fans. A good player but not great. Once he had his stroke, he was a chase down linebacker against the run. The myth was larger than the reality.

Clowney is definitely up there. Seems like he should be in the top tier of pass rushers, but constantly leaves you wanting more
Dak is another good one, but I think that stems from playing in Dallas and the media presence around the Cowboys.
My contribution is Kirk Cousins, which may seem obvious, but the media loves him despite the fact he cant beat good teams.Keep mod discussions out of your sig line

I dont know. Clowney can completely disrupt the game in ways that wont show up on the stat sheet. He just doesn't do it on a consistent basis.
Erin is overrated to hell & back but he is still a good QB. Same thing goes for Brady.
My vote goes to Michael Thomas (srs). If I was choosing WRs based on talent he would not be 1 of the first 3 I choose.

As a Cowboys fan, I'm anxious to see Dak have a year under a new coach/system. The talent and upside is there. If a coach can maximize that, Dak has the potential to be a very good quarterback.
He needs to really play at a top level this year though. It's no secret that he stat padded heavily last year against weaker teams and/or garbage time.6'1 - 240lbs

This is what people say, but thats just people rating him on his athletic ability and what he could/should be. He doesn't take advantage of his physical gifts, he uses them as crutch to make up for his lack of other qualities to make him a good but not great player. Meanwhile far less talented players are producing far more on the field

Yeah I'm unsure on Thomas. I feel like he benefits a lot from Brees and Payton's system. He's good but like you said he's not on DHop or Julio's level.
He was just rated #1 on the NFL list despite being barely a top 5 QB in the league in my opinion. I predict he's going to get exposed as a passer going forward. He's had one good year on a stacked team, and QBs like him always have a couple good years and then defenses adjust and they fizzle out.

lol not today.
negged. One of the most underrated players in the League.
Him and Dhop are 2 of the best at it. It's everything else about his game that keeps him out of my top 3. Trust me, he benefits greatly from having the most accurate QB in the league, high IQ QB, and a QB that cant throw bombs anymore.
