Anyone else do 100-200 push ups a day?

About a year a two ago, I decided I do 100-200 push ups a day along with my normal 6 days a week heavy lifting, and I'm actually shocked how much of a difference it made.

Not only, did it make me way more define, it helped with strength on my other lifts.

I do em through out the day, but mostly when I wake up at the ass crack of dawn, and then before I go to bed.

    Would recommend!

I do 100 a day, right before breakfast. Doesnt take that long. It's made a remarkable difference in my chest and shoulder definition and like OP said, it helped with the other lifts. At first I used to avoid doing it on chest day because I was scared it would affect my lift but started doing it regardless and I dont think it hampers it at all.

Because of the great improvement it made I tried adding 100 squats with a 25lb plate but my fkn knees didnt like it so I just stuck to a stretching routine.

I need to start doing this again. I did it pretty religiously and I also felt like it made my pecs pop more and I had better endurance in the gym

Yea, since I've been doing these push ups the definition in my chest and shoulders is crazy tbh. I do it with squats to, but like you my knees and back sucks so I stay way.

Used to do an amrap set right out of bed and another 10 mins later before showering. Worked up to sets of 80 with the occasional 100 set when i felt good. Deff makes a difference in appearance and endurance. Didnt affect my cheast days at all, actually believe it aided in recovery. Chest days affected the push ups the next day (doms) but doing the push ups didnt hurt my bench at all.

No, but since I started doing this daily it has changed my life. HIGHLY recommend this before lifting. Especially once you are getting older.

I've done 100 a day for a few weeks at a time before.
It's helped me do better with other lifts, and like OP said more defined.
I think I might start throwing the chair pushups in with them. I was reading about the old Charles Atlas workouts last week and tried some of them. They were great.
Quite challenging and a far greater range of motion.

Because I never measured my lifts and forget what I started at, but I know I've been able to lift heavier albeit if it's only 10-20lbs.

No offense but it's honestly amazing you haven't torn at least one shoulder, that's so overkill for your cuffs.

You'll see the same strength results doing those 200 push ups throughout the week instead of daily.. you haven't had a rest day in 1-2 years, bruhhhh.
