    You're much more likely to die in a pickup truck than a car of similar weight or even

    a somewhat lighter car.
    Pickup trucks have horrible front to rear weight distribution causing the to fishtail in situations any other vehicle would maintain grip. Pickup trucks are also the most likely vehicles to rollover in a crash killing the driver.
    Look at this good example.
    A much lighter BMW 3 series hit a Ford F150.
    The BMW driver lived while the Ford F150 died. Friends don't let friends buy pickup trucks.

    Horrible accident, and a tragedy for the driver of the pickup truck.

    All of southern California, Santa Anna and close by Anaheim has a bunch of street racing.

    Northern California around Oakland has the sideshows during the day and night. I don't know how the Bay Area can handle it.

    Truck accidents can be nasty, but cars are just as dangerous also. Especially when they involve the under-ride guards on big rig trucks. It's probably the most gruesome type of auto accident.

    reverse the situation where a speeding truck hits square on a bmw's side at an intersection and see how well the bmw comes out.

    Wrong, it was more of a front offset accident and the impacts not even on the driver'sside of the pickup, it was on the Passenger side.,

    Had a Triton crash into the back of my Ranger, tow-ball caved in the frame and wrote the jap crap off.
    I continued home and when I had the time I took the ute in to get the tailgate resprayed.

    Drove my Mums Hyundai once and a van crashed into the back of it at a similar speed, Hyundai was written off.
