Cheers for the link, mate. Youtubers make me ADHD with their over-stretched content these days.
But yeah, I'm not taking anything too seriously since it's all so speculative.
They would have to undergo some major engine overhauls to get some of those things working, namely larger numbers of onscreen characters or greater density while still maintaining relatively complex AI scheduling.
Bethesda will have to really ramp up the improvements; the "leap" from Skyrim to Fallout 4 to Fallout 76 has been nothing short of a joke, more of a rough stumble in a somewhat forward direction if anything, and adding vehicles isn't going to cut it with Starfield in between. There are the bugs, the plastic-y looking people, and the combat which becomes exponentially more outdated that all need to see some heavy work, to point out only a few glaring issues.
Thinking about it, though, my rising concern is the Pandora's box that Fallout 76 opened by introducing multiplayer and microtransactions into Bethesda's wheelhouse. Oblivion Horse Armor might have existed years ago, and the very idea of any kind of paid cosmetic DLC in a full priced role playing game is scummy as all hell, but it's that shareholder's chocolate and peanut butter of microtransactions mixed with the possibility of online whales who will make them sustainable which concerns me the most.
Then there is the whole matter of online integration being a total catastrophe for modding as seen by the constant update/mod break cycle introduced with Skyrim Remastered and Fallout 4. Obviously there are many games that play perfectly fine without modding whatsoever, but thus far the TES games have been nothing but massively improved by the mere existence of a dedicated (and frankly patient) modding community to pick up the slack for Bethesda. If they cock that side of things up, then they had damn well better come out with something that makes you not think twice about modding, which is an extremely tall order given all precedents.
As far as release goes, if rumors on Avowed are remotely true, that would release earlier than TES VI with enough of a gap not put them necessarily neck and neck, but comparisons will inevitably be made between the two.

That quest line of the khajit sounds fun. I wish there are more quests like that. That said, I'm not expecting much from them in regards to deeper rpg elements and I see even more emphasis on their crappy settlement building bull**** heading into the new game ... But I hope I'm pleasantly surprised. I really want to see an upgrade to their graphics engine though.
Still pretty excited for the game, and i'm there day one. Love me some immersive sims.Sig line can't be a novel

I lost some faith in Bethesda after Fo4 and stayed far away form F76.
Maybe they'll go back to more RPG > Action in four years. We shall see.***The Misadventires of Gandalf the Black***

"As for why Skyrim was chosen for the remaster treatment, Hines stated that the development team had already ported Skyrim to the Xbox One as a technical exercise during the research phase of Fallout 4, and some of the work had already been completed"
I seen some reddit post long ago that said they said they'd never remaster any other titles or something along going down that path.
