- I refinanced my condo dropping 1%+ (it's rented out)
- I refinanced my student loans to an even lower rate (have the cash to pay in full but holding onto cash for the time being)
- Added somewhere around 15K-20K into my savings over the past 3/4 months
- During those extreme volatile market periods in March/April, I rebalanced out at high prices and bought at low points, swapping high expense funds I was holding for low cost and better funds. My retirement accounts are currently at all time highs.
- I made some riskier side investment bets that have generated 300% return
- Continuing to save a good amount every paycheck into my savings
What good financial moves have you made during this?

Had 73 contractors staying in my furnished rental houses in February. By the end of April it was 2. Now I'm up to about 20. I'm trying to make a deal with a company bringing in about 30 guys, and I would provide their housing. The company currently pays $500/week/person to put them up in a hotel room. I charge $200/week/person and they share a 3 or 4 bedroom house. The companies project manager has toured my places, and he's all for it. But he is not the one to make the decision. Some guy in an office 500 miles away makes it.
Reps to everyone on this thread if I land that company.

Pandemic has brought lots of opportunity to me on all fronts. Main company doing so well we upgraded to a bigger warehouse and all got bonuses. Side business increased revenue several times over. Been feeling pretty blessed tbh.
Absolutely nothing that I personally did to deserve any of this. Just in the right industries at the right time, with the right products srs
