They are, roofers are all usually alcoholics and most smoke two packs a day. Plus they can't show of their nice Carhartt work clothes cause they spend the days on rooftops. All their trucks are usually beat and smell like Gatorade, beef jerky and regrets from the night before
HVAC, electrician,Plumbing is where it's at

Yeah but I’m 23 , you think some sloot is going to buy the fact I run my own business lol ?
People look down on tradies irl a lot srs
Especially the dirtier ones like plumbing/pipefitting , roofing and masons.
I had a roommate kick me out at the end of the month ( gave me a heads up Atleast) when I was doing scaffolding because I would come home dirty and get something out the fridge before I hoped in the shower.Sig can't be a novel crew

All of the plumbers I know personally make six figures or close to it.
Inb4 some jobless geek says that's "broke"
I'm indifferent about tradies tbh
Yeah most are ex-cons but at the same time they keep society running like truckers*Tolerance is the lube that slides the dildo of dysfunction into the ass of civilized society*

They make the most here in San Diego and there’s a huge demand for them with a lot of openings. Found this out last night.
They make 7$/hr more in the union than union electricians and almost twice as much on the non union side as electricians. Atleast here in San Diego.
If you work service calls a lot of companies will give you commission too so it could be over 6 figures with the right company.
I can’t imagine what some of these business owners are making.Last edited by dogorman7; 07-26-2020 at 03:36 PM.

But who was HVAC?
HVAC, electricians, plumbers all make pretty similar wages in my area. And construction plumbers don't have to deal with the doo-doo side of things. Elevator repair/install is cush and they make great money but it is a VERY difficult field to get into.
Crane/heavy equipment operators can also make serious bank once they start handling the bigger toys. I've known several that are making $5-10/hr more than most other trades in the area.Permabulk/bloatlord Crew
