Brendan Schaub said it, so it may or may not be true.
Makes perfect sense, though. Two of the greatest fighters of all time, in their 50's, fighting with nothing on the line. I'm sure they were both guaranteed $25mil+ to put on a show without trying to kill each other.
It'll be a draw, so they can collect the paycheck and no one's ego gets hurt. The Iron never lies to you

Mike Tyson can beat anyone
-Some people say good things come to those who wait, truth is, good things come to those who work..... who work later.....who work harder...... who are willing to go further than anyone else to get them. If you're waiting for good things to come to you, you'll be waiting for a pretty long time.
-I'd rather live life saying "I failed" than "I could have"

You have a fighter who can't be touched vs. a fighter who's defence is impregnable.....a tough one.
In a legit battle, I'd have to give it to Mike though. He is still a wrecking machine even at his advanced age."Honor is something that all men are born with. It cannot be taken from you nor can it be granted. It must only not be lost."

Roy's last fought in 2018 which gives him an edge, as Tyson hasn't fought a real fight for 15 years.
But having said that Tyson is the natural heavyweight and will probably have at least 20lbs on RJJ and Roy's chin is a liability in this fight. Sure it's just an exhibition but a fat Tyson fought an exhibition vs a 292lbs Corrie Sanders in 2009 and hit him with a nothing right hand which would of dropped Sanders if Tyson had not of grabbed him and physically held him up and he did drop him with another nothing shot in the first. Suffice to say Tyson lands a punch with even 70% of his real power he KO's Jones Jr.
Plus style wise I think Tyson with his all out aggressive style doesn't bode well for RJJ. Roy tends to shell up and wait until his opponent stops firing and then unloads with a counter like he did vs Vinny Pazienza but Tyson would rip right through his guard if RJJ tries that tactic. Guys that gave Tyson trouble tied him up, manhandled him like Holyfield, Douglas and Lewis. RJJ doesn't fight like that, he's got nothing to stifle Tyson's aggression and those reflexes and speed he once had that allowed him to get away with him not having the fundamentals have long since abandoned him.Last edited by BrightonBomber; 07-26-2020 at 02:39 AM.
