Gonna be the game of the year when it releases. Pretty excited for this ... Looks like Divinity 2 but they've improved upon the gameplay and added a lot of cool things.

Very excited for this. BG2 is my favorite game of ALL TIME!!! I love Dungeons and Dragons as a teen and games where your choices changes the story.

super ****in hypeddddddddd since the beginning. still never finished baldur's gate 2 though. i finished one but wasn't much of a connection between 1 and 2. hoping the stories are super related between 2 and 3.

just started playing baulders gate, got number 2 to get through aswell, never played them before but have wanted to for a while. so excited for number three...though I hear it's going to be early access and not the finished thing? in which case I shall wait. dvos 2 was amazing, so any comparisons are music to my ears

I may be in the minority but honestly was hoping BG3 would be similar in gameplay (and even in graphics) to the preceding games and carry on the bhaalspawn storyline including character import and returning companions. I think this will feel like such a completely different game that calling it a sequel doesn’t make sense. Doubt I will play it.

It seems that the fears of it being DOS 3 are pretty much true, they even reused the assets from DOS 2. Sucks for the Baldur's Gate IP, but if you want more Divinity you got one. So far it seems "journalists" don't like it, so it's probably good.

Like I said, BG2 is my favorite game OF ALL TIME!!! I understand gameplay change esp since BG2 was what? 20 years ago. I just hope the story is good, that is what matters most to me about RPGs.
