    Juice Cleanse - just thinking about doing it for a jump start

    I am thinking about doing a 3-day Juice Cleanse, just to jump start me back in the right direction. Life has been a bit crazy lately, and I have fallen back into some bad habits... and the lbs are finding their way back too!

    Have any of you done a juice cleanse? The ready-made ones look convenient, however fairly expensive. What did you try, what was your experience like?

    Any suggestions?

    It's not a smart idea. This falls into the realm of quack remedies and old wives tales.

    Just start controlling your calorie and macro intake and eating a sensible variety of whole or minimally processed foods. Sustainable changes in habits produce results. Gimmicks do not - and can sometimes even be harmful due to dietary deficiencies.

    It might help you mentally after you finish it and it might be good for your stomach, if you have constipation issues or stuff like that.
    But no more than 3 days.


    More might equal some deficiences, like SP said.
    After that, eat normal, healthier and watch your calories, don't try other weird stuff.

    I've inadvertantly cleansed out my system. First thing in the morning on an empty stomach, about 2 cups of coffee plus a big spoonful of coconut oil plus a big spoon of cacao powder. Then start exercising. Make sure the restroom facilities are nearby. And there is plenty of toilet paper.

    Had some out of date milk once, best cleanse ever. Sucked cleaning the bathroom after though.
