"Road Dogg" Brian James, who works behind the scenes in WWE, responded to a fan's comment about Joe Biden being a better choice for United States President than Donald Trump. Here was the exchange:

Fan: "Better choice than Trump.... Trump dropped the ball and his hatred is overwhelming."

Road Dogg: "Understand this thought process but it’s NEVER about one man. It’s policy and values and pocket book. If you don’t work and don’t want to, vote Democrat. I’ll foot the bill.

Fan: "Yes I do work but come on brother Trump has to go... He has abandoned the epidemic, continues you preach diversity and hasn’t stepped up as a leader... As a highly decorated Veteran, I feel let down."

Road Dogg: "so you’re saying socialism is the answer? It’s ok if that’s how you feel, I just want to know where we each stand. If we cut the military budget then Putin is the worlds police chief and that terrifies me. He’s naming blacks and Latinos to high offices, what “diversity” is he failing at. He has a strong stance on illegal immigration, that doesn’t mean he’s not diverse, it means we should take care of Americans first, veterans too, like me and you. Also, economy, jobs, tariff/trade mandates. I’m not a fan of the man but I’m a fan of the job the man has done."

Road Dogg also responded to comments about Trump being racist:

"I’m just saying that I don’t see evidence of Trumps racism. I do, however, see a lot of evidence that Biden is. Check the records and dont just listen to what people say. The country is moving in the wrong direction. We use to be a patriotic, God fearing/loving country and now ****philia is a “sexual orientation” what went wrong and when did this happen? I’d suggest over the last 8 years with a leftist, Socialist president in office. Trump started fighting to center us again and the fangs came out on the other side of the isle. We need to take America back, for all people of all colors."

A fan responded to Road Dogg and there was another exchange:

eeesh i hate to admit it but you actually make a fair point that he is trying to give a more specific response to a vague sort of opinion. And I'm probably more inclined to read it this way because I don't agree with him... but, i do think for example "If you don’t work and don’t want to, vote Democrat. I’ll foot the bill" is a strawman response. Admittedly more so when you take it in isolation rather than as part of the longer response though.

I think you're right that the fan has made kind of vague observations and RD has tried to provide an articulate response.
But I see "I don't like the way he speaks about Mexican people" and the response "strong borders are not racism" as a strawman response. One could argue for strong borders without coming off like a racist. And I'd argue that's a leader's job.

Honestly it's just hard for me to imagine anyone in the US looking at the state the place is in compared to 5 years ago and saying "yeah this bloke (and the party behind him) is doing a great job, we need to stay on this course". Same for my country as well mind you. It's a ****ing shambles.

Italy got absolutely smashed early on and begged the rest of the world "pay attention to what is happening here and don't let it happen to your countries". Spain got smashed shortly after. Sweden adopted a minimal intervention / herd immunity approach if i understand it correctly, and if I remember accurately it wasn't long ago people on this board used it as an example of why lockdowns were unnecessary. UK's response was similar to the US with their buffoon of a PM no-showing the response meetings and insist everyone should keep up good British customs of shaking hands and so forth. I have no knowledge of Belgium's situation tbh but to point those out like "hey the US aint doing so bad" is on pretty shaky ground IMO.

Let me be clear, I see the path to a socialistic government if the Democrats get the power. I am not saying all Democrats are bad.
