Who is looking forward to GYM repopen and who's has been open all this time?!?

So in my lockdown blues, I had been avoiding social media where people leap around their living rooms in tight clothing making out home workouts > gym workouts. I only just ventured onto my fave pages this week after UK PM Boris said our gyms open on Saturday this week... and I see loads of US folks have been at the gym all this time. Livid.

So who is awaiting the grand reopen and who has been at the gym all this time?!? Anyone carrying extra weight? Lost gains? Mass? What's going on with you?

We had our gyms reopen a couple weeks ago against the wishes of our Governor <not all of them mind you>. I immediately got a membership at one of the rebels and life has been good. It's amazing how much better you feel when you get some physical activity in your life.

Mine is open but only allowed 50% capacity. Owner says they've never hit 50% capacity since opening though. (Physically large gym but very few members)
I haven't started going back yet though because I'm too busy working and dying on the inside.

Our gyms opened on June 1st. I was lifting at home the whole time they were closed and eating the same so maintained and didn't lose my gains. I've been going on late Sunday afternoons and it's nice and dead. Maybe 5-10 people in there total which is nice.

I def missed the hammie machines and the cable machines.

I was working out 6 days a week, running 10k on the treadmill 3 times a week, an hour of stretching a day and good nutrition. They closed gyms and I just stopped everything. Gym reopened 3 weeks ago and I'm getting back into it way slower than expected

Gyms in NY have been closed since late March, no word on when they will reopen.

I finally started running (hate running) during the shutdown and I have had a home gym for years, so I've been lifting the whole time.

ive also got a few other misc pieces of equipment, two benches, more lat pull down bars, a neck harness, i also built a custom piece of workout equipment for biceps and triceps. basically a constant torque machine. and some forearm stuff

I live in NYC and gyms have been shut down since mid March. I know some people who go to Connecticut to work out.

I will be going to the UK next Sunday though to visit the gf. Very happy gym is open there I may have to pay one a visit.

I work in a gym and have been training (with a colleague ) in there since lockdown. Not looking forward to gyms opening tbh because that means work begins again.

Yes, thankfully found a gym with no booking slot required, just up to 50 ppl (it's a small private gym) and just clean equipment after use. So happy
