    Beet roots, can’t believe it actually works

    So i read forever ago beets contain nitrates to open up vessels & help promote blood flow to muscles. the other day i bought some for the first time & took abt 2 cups an hour before my workout (chit taste like taking poo poo dirt straight to the neck) & the pump it gave me which helped with the mind muscle connection was insane. i’ve never experienced that with any any pre-workout even. within my first set my chest felt like a water ballon abt to pop. so if anyways wanting to try a different pwo out, couldn’t recommend it enough. has any one else had experience taking beets before a workout sesh?

    I haven't tried it yet, but I saw a video where Donovan Mitchell said that he and the Utah Jazz all take BeetElite before their workouts.

    i thought it was over hyped, but it does awesome. plus sometimes with pwo i’ll get nauseous maybe 1 out of 5 times. beets you just take it an hour before & you feel great bc it’s already digested & you don’t gotta carry that junk around in your stomach the whole time.

    I wonder if dehydrating your own beets and grinding it into powder to mix in with other pre workout supplements would still have the same effect as juicing or eating them whole.
