hikigaya goin right out and sayin he thinks there's a love triangle goin on was awesome. it broke the usual trope.
when sensei has her moment it's gonna be so sad lol

the whole codependency thing is a huge ****in trip lol. they all rely one each other onesidely in a way. hikigaya is codependant on others because it's like his existence pretty much.

i don't think codependency is entirely bad in itself though... hmm.

You also misunderstood the codependency thing. Recall what Hikigaya said in season 2, how he's enabling bad characteristics of Yukino. He views her as strong willed, honest and someone who doesn't make mistakes, however all of those are wrong. Throughout the series he pushes her in little ways that make her feel like she has to be perfect. In comparison, he views Yui as a nice girl who has no ulterior motives. Note that unlike Yukino, he wasn't pushing roles on Yui.

nobody cares about the LN bro lol that's just u and grimey. maybe we'll care about the LN if we read the LN, but we're watching the anime. that whole thing is book vs movie/tv series u can't compare it. the LOTR novels are totally different from the movies. totally different things when comparing different media.

There's a big difference between splitting off in an original way vs cutting important moments and making scenes misleading, that get the viewer to think the wrong way. There's zero romance between Yui and Hachiman, even though the anime makes it seem like there is

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood <-- watch it dubbed, then subbed, then dubbed again

Hunter X Hunter <-- watch it, you will think it is for kids, but when you reach the Chimera Ant arc

Gantz <- read it, very brutal, main character is a realistic dude

the second season of Re:Zero is the best anime of this season at the moment brah , God of High School has potential but it feels like your run of the mill shounen so far, i heard they are rushing it hard as fuk and thats why some stuff doesnt makes much sense

Man, the more they talk about stuff that happened in Aincrad (like the raid on Laughing Coffin), the more I wish they had spent more time on that first arc. I'd legit have watched ~70-100 episodes of Aincrad.

That moment when Sinon encouraged Alice and then stayed behind to face Vecta was great.

The ploy to get Chinese and Korean players to think the Japanese players were hackers was really good. I'm starting to get tired of this war though, I'd legit just like to see them just relaxing and questing in a VR world again.

Any LN readers know how much material is left after this arc and if the story's wrapping up or still going?

Kid was imprisoned by Kaido and is holding on to his grudge, and he's been pretty prominent in this arc. So I'd say Luffy, Kid, Yamato, and Zoro vs Kaido

I think the Red Scabbards are basically the warm-up match, they'll fight him for a bit and then get scattered or something imo

hell yeah, another man of culture. Chainsawman is one of the best shonens out there rn, I can't believe it gets published on Jump considering how gory and depressing it gets. Very legit 9/10 up to this point.

Yeah chainsaw man is definitely one of the best shounens out right now. Everything from the SOL moments to the fight scenes is really well done + pretty much no one is safe in this manga lol

You'd think in an anime full of waifu bait, seeing a nice pair of jugs would be a good sign - but nah. Srsly though, 100% expected things to go sideways at the end due to the lack of action during the rest of the episode. didn't think we would see Elsa again so soon, though.

Methinks Subaru will rewind to the morning before he sets off with the villagers. if that's the case it'll be interesting how he decides to deal with Elsa. Roswaal expects Frederica and Beatrice to still be at the mansion, meaning Elsa either killed them (doubt Beatrice would die tho) or forced them to flee. He will need to draw reinforcements from the half-blooded, which he can't because of the barrier. So he will have to either convince Emilia to power through the trials, do them himself or maybe enlist the help of Echidna somehow. My guess is that Frederica dies no matter what, but Rem and Beatrice turn out fine.

ayy lmao i missread your post brah, i thought you meant he would rewind to the moment he set off to the villagers, as from the manor, but rewinding before setting off to the manor with the villagers makes sense, imo it depends on who Elsa has killed when that happens, before the ep ended we saw all doors in the mansion open, that could mean that Elsa either killed everyone and is seeking for Emilia since her goal is to remove her from the candidates (maybe she was hired by priscila or the rich loli), or she is searching for anyone inside the mansion since they hid in time, if Elsa has killed either Petra or Rem already i dont think that Subaru will rewind to that point, i dont think that he always rewinds to the last time he woke up, back when he just met Rem and Ram he spent several nights there and was rewinded to the time he just met them, on the first ep of season 2 he was also rewinded to the time he was just talking with Emilia, i would like for him to rewind before talking with Echidna just to see her reaction, maybe she knows something about return by death or something, she mentioned something about using her tea to strenghten subaru's resistance so they could talk freely, i wonder if it was some sort of resistance against the jealous witch
