Hello all. I'm 41 yrs old and getting back into BJJ. I'm currently taking a fish oil, multi and flexmode. Any supp that could help in high intensity training that could help as a pre work out? I've heard beta Alanine helps but I've heard many mixed reviews.. Please help. Any help to get my old butt back on the mat will help.. Thank you..

Beta Alanine could be helpful if you're training >2.5 hours or multiples times per day or high intensity for the full training session.
When you take it doesn't matter, it works via saturation like creatine. Don't expect magic though.
Pre-workout, caffeine is most of what you want. Caffeine tabs are cheap and easy. It guess your definition of "help" is key to giving you the right answer.
The reality is though that rest, nutrition and getting back in shape (as I'm sure will happen as you continue to work) are the primary keys."I'm pretty sure your wrong, but care to elaborate..."
