+$100 from Kattar+Usman combo but nowhere to allocate all this green for next week. So hard to pick and a lot of them are unknown so I thought we could have some discussion as several heads is better than one.
Here's my thoughts on the prelims, maybe someone can share some more insight
Spivak hasn't really beaten anyone significant but the Brazilian "Boi" is more of a boxer from what I've read so it's either KO by the Brazilian or sub by spivak. Hard to bet but I'm leaning towards KO by the Boi.
Ramos vs Arman - Who the fook knows who is gonna win. Both lost vs Islam, Arman is an extremely high level wrestler but Ramos is a 3rd degree BJJ black belt and a world champ. Would not bet.
Gordon vs Albazi - Gordon has chitloads on submission wins but Amir is well rounded. Would not bet.
Duffy vs Alvarez - Duffy is a beast and very well rounded, massive favourite but I wouldn't be surprised if Alvarez pulled out a submission win here. I'm gonna go with sub by Alvarez.
Enough of prelims, I skipped a couple but pres always surprise me.
KG vs Hermansson - KG is underrated and Hermansson for me is a poverty GSP so I'm gonna go with KayGee even though they're pretty even in odds.
Figueiredo vs Benavidez - Benavidez was arguably winning the first round until he got slayed. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say Benavidez this time by smart gameplan decision.
So total 4 bets $10 to win $1100
Not the most interesting card but betting even a tenner makes all the fights much more enjoyable.

je baby, 5 out of 7 parlays still going strong after alvarez sub. Unfortunately I had most of them just him winning, only 1 him by sub.

Most of the bets are. When 2 guys get in the ring it's anyones game despite the odds. That's why I've started analysing the record, see what sort of background they've had, who they've beat and lost to and how. On paper Alvarez was the biggest underdog on the card but in reality he had like 12 subs and is an absolute jitz wizard. The irish/british fighters have a really technical well rounded background but often times they are too afraid and are TOO technique based if you know what I mean instead of improvising or going wild in the ring.
I'd recommend throwing a lot of bets but $5 max into big parlays, then every fight is interesting even in the early prelims of main ufcs

Agree 100%. I used to parlay other sports into my UFC bets because of the live dog factor which I love.
Side note. I really dislike Bisping’s commentary. He’s very articulate but he states a preference at the start and won’t shut up about it the whole 3-5 rounds. He did this last week too.
I think this Askarov fight is a draw going into the 3rd but Bisping won’t stop sucking his d.

fuk this, cashed out $350(srs lol). Always had bad luck with womens fights and both big parlays were on Lipski.
Had to hit either
Lipski, Diakese, KG, Figueiredo or
Lipski, Diakese, Hermansson, Figueiredo
for $2k win either
But she is too pretty to win, liking the ufc on espn+ 31 card a lot more to get some good bets in

So true, I only bet to keep my eyes on the **** fights. The match makers are good in the UFC and they never want to schedule a steamrolling. I like to hedge my bets with would-be winnings too, roulette style. eg on this card, a bet on all faves plus askarov, or a bet on all faves plus fiziev. Gets goods returns if either hits.
I have a decent amount on KG straight up today, and combined with Figeuredo.

I do the same Bob, got lots of faves + Shahbazyan, Haqparast,Dariush(not underdogs but 3 combined would make it a risk) for example in a couple of weeks. I'm 95% sure all 3 of those will win but to bump up the $5 to something more substancial(4 figures) have to combo it with a lot of other fights
Threw a $20 on fizeev KG fig just before this fight started. Damn those leg kicks, I feel the pain through the screen.Last edited by Schnitzl; 07-18-2020 at 06:27 PM.
