    Counting Calories

When it comes to counting calories during a cut or mass gain, how do you go about counting calories with foods you get from street food markets or local chicken shops as they dont have any calories stated anywhere and the people serving dont know either.

Do you just avoid those places or just get it without counting those calories or is there some estimation app of some sort?

Become proficient at tracking all kinds of different foods, ingredients, meals by eye. Then make an educated guess and add several hundred calories on to it (because your educated guess is likely going to be far too low).

Until then either avoid street food or just accept that you can't track it and eat more conservatively for the rest of the day

Google something similar and best guess it.
Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.

I just put a similiar item into myfitnesspal and then from then on use that same way of tracking all the time. Might be off a little bit but doesn't really matter if you're always using the same method

If the restaurant doesn’t have nutritional info online, find two well-known restaurants that do and record the calories of a comparable dish from each. Use the average calories to play it safe, the high end if you’re trying to lose weight, and the low end if you’re trying to gain weight.
