My dad lives on 90 acre farm of probably 80% wooded land with a decent fishing pond. Its pretty sweet definitely feel privileged to have that to enjoy whenever. We have deer and turkey and used to hunt but don't anymore. Have some trails to ride dirt bikes/4 wheelers on or just walk with the dogs free from people and traffic noise.
My dad and I cut trees and chop wood every fall (for him to use through winter mainly) which feels badass and test boosting
Depending on how much field you got you have to consider the maintenance or mowing/bush hogging it regularly“Gotta have opposites, light and dark and dark and light, in painting. It’s like in life. Gotta have a little sadness once in awhile so you know when the good times come" - Bob Ross

$100k/acre? Got damn, high arse land values of piss, lol.
Just make sure when setting up shooting range you have plenty of backstop with only 10 acres, and if there are neighbors anywhere within 1-2 miles keep that in mind when clearing shooting lanes for targets and/or hunting.Permabulk/bloatlord Crew

maintaining land is harder than it seems, especially if you don't have like, a skidsteer and lots of time
honestly i'd probably have some grading done, a little road and make a clearing at a nice spot, pour a concrete slab/get some gravel dumped and park a trailer there. being able to just drive off for a weekend away from the city and have everything set up would be really nice
