Dude at least come up with a reliable source. The guy that came up with that is an joke in the science community. He was sacked by is own university and was successfully sued by another professor for libel to the sum of $350K. Guys also a left wing activist and has been in the past accused of inciting students to violence. He's also a climate change denier. It's very clear he's allowed his political views to alter his views on his science, which is why he was fired from his university.

Most of the studies he's based his conclusions on are years old and deal with influenza not even Covid and his conclusions are transparently flawed and biased as he's made numerous assumtions. There's a huge amount of more recent studies that confirm the efficacy of masks, so much so even Trump and Pence have changed their views on masks.

I live in NYC and have worn one like 3 times since April. Most stores don't give a **** if you're in and out within a few minutes. Public transportation literally makes zero effort to enforce. The few times I put it on I just hang it over my left ear or under my chin. These mask policies have zero to do with science - the virus is going to spread regardless. Even so, people die from TB, Flu, etc which all spread through respiratory droplets. I wasn't wearing a mask for those germs, certainly not going to wear one now. The death rate of Covid is the same or slightly worse than Flu, and the flu actually has a vaccine already.
