I have an order in AH for more IPOF+ not sure if it'll hit though. I really doubt Chamath brings a shiet deal to the market, he's too much of an egomaniac.
Tweet out from his podcast today saying no pod this week but there might be a "special drop í ½í¸‰" next week so I'd bet we see something IPOD or IPOF related sooner than later.

I'd consider shifting to something else that might see a pop. There won't be any more catalysts for MAAC. biopharma companies aren't that glamorous and their 2 phase 1 trial meds statistically may never make it to market (something like 1 out of 3 in phase 1 get through and eventually make it to market). Despite their relatively high marketcap they should still be considered a moonshot IMO unless you know someone in industry who is certain they'll be acquired. I'm not even sure what they think they'll do with the $$$. Getting one drug through the trials 1-3 can cost up to 1 billion dollars.
I'm hoping SPACs start getting a little hype here soon and it seems Rawlson is willing to put in some work. Lucid is dropping a big announcement commercial while Musk is on SNL tonight which hopefully will be entertaining.
Chamath teasing a news drop this coming week which might just be IPOE news or could hopefully be dam good IPOF news.
GIK redeemers are also finally getting their money back, some other big name spacs are finally merged/merging so this should hopefully start pushing at NAV spacs back away from the $10 line up closer to $10.50 or $11 hopefully. Everything starting to set back in motion so hopefully we see a little pent up news come through and money start flowing back to new exciting companies coming public via spac. Inflation is seriously going to get insane so valuations aren't going to matter before too long.Fitness connoisseur

I wouldn't touch PSTH. Possibly IPOF if it comes down a little. I personally have plenty in BWAC so not adding there. There are other spacs to buy with warrants at 1.1 or below that are pretty good. I've held all of my MAAC but debating selling it at 1.5. Im trying to find out more information on the company. While I've heard good things so far not sure if it will move quickly at this point. We'll see.

There is that one ^
SWBK taking scooter company BIRD public at 2.3 Billion which is going to get shorted to 0 real quick.
STPC taking Benson hill public- no idea if the deal is good or not.
LivK- agilethought going public. Deal might be decent for a digitial solutions company valued at 500M with 120M in cash.
Vice rumored to be coming out with a DA pretty soon.Fitness connoisseur

Think spac options are determined by volumes so likely not enough interest
Along those lines, think I'll continue to try and average down on my position. The more tech craters the more I see a strong reopening play being a great long term buy IF the valuation is right. I'll puke if it's something like 9B though. My benchmark would be Planet Fitness's market cap @7B. Equinox has more revs (over 2x pre pandemic) and less debt on the books (1.1B vs 1.6B).

Yea anything that is speculative tech I would not be in atm, the rotation has been brutal. I sold everything out of Altu and positioned over to some other spacs.
OACB- Anything in the 1.1 or below range is a buy. Extremely strong sponsor that will definitely get a deal done.
Obviously in BWACW
JWSM- Barry has been doing very well. I like his warrants at 1.1 or below as well. Easy buys.
MAACW ive held 90% of them. Someone clearly likes Roivant as there have been lots of buying on the warrants. I'll hold for now.
In VSPR/ Now SKIN. Was a magnificent play where I bought before merger.
In a couple other spacs that are focused on consumer goods & industrial. Not touching anything that has a space target or is speculative tech at this point.

Exactly, this is really all that matters though at the end of the day.

I expect this number to increase substantially on a DA with a solid valuation.

Yeah new public company hype is entirely gone and this chart proved it for me.
That said, inflation is still going nuts so perhaps after things cool off some stuff starts to come back who knows.
Thank god I didn't start using options...I thought about it for a hot minute.Last edited by RobParks2M; 05-11-2021 at 08:23 AM.

so I split some units recently on my ToS account and it made me think:
once they're split, it shows my cost basis as zero on the resulting warrants and commons, and shows the YTD P/L as if I acquired them for $0
when I sell the warrants or commons, am I getting taxed on them as if I paid $0 for them?!? Since it doesn't seem to take into consideration the cost basis from when they were bought as a unit, this got me thinking...Awesome pics. Great size. Look thick. Solid. Tight. Keep us all posted on your continued progress with any new progress pics or vid clips. Show us what you got man. Wanna see how freakin' huge, solid, thick and tight you can get. Thanks for the motivation.
