Yeah holding this much GRAF is causing me to miss out on these Q4 spacs. I'll have to jump in now on the 1mnth out retrace that they all seem to have

I sold DPHC low 20's expecting a retrace. It's now around 28 FML. Also bought a warrant @ 8.90 just to track in port when I open it - it's up to $12 now wtf. I didn't buy the warrants initially because they were overpriced, but they just keep going up. Hope DPHC has a retrace this month so I can buy back in.

Think I got into the only spac that doesn't have outrageously priced warrants fml. Brb share price high of 32.50. Warrant high of 7.90.

oh, I definitely fuked up bigly selling SHLL way too early. I initially exited around like 27 for around 7k profit, which would have been wayyy more had I just held through. I bought back in around 47, thinking it's gonna run up more before merger.

I get most my info just reading the reddit SPAC sub and from Jmac investing on youtube. Dude sounds like a redneck kinda but since I started watching his videos some months back he hasn't really been wrong about much yet. He mainly just focuses on SPACs.

Agreed. I'm not touching most of the EV mergers at all. Their FOMO is getting out of control. Seems about every SPAC is merging with some EV company. Nikola, Hyliion (although I'm balls deep in this), Fisker, Canoo, Chargepoint, QuantumScape, XL Fleet, etc.

I may lose out on some gains, but most of these EV companies just sound fukin dumb to me.

Personally, I'm just betting on the man that predicted several things right and made billions of dollars recently. And one of the things he wasn't right on (Herbalife), for the life of me I can't believe he wasn't. if I was into stocks then, I woulda shorted that MFer too. I can't believe it's still a thing. I remember 8ish years ago hearing about it and immediately thinking it was a pyramid scheme. And that's basically what he said and why he shorted it (costed him millions(M's or B's can't remember which), but can't blame him for that one at all.

Ackman is streaky at best. I wanted in near the ground floor where my max risk was -10%. He fukked up that biopharma deal really really hard too. Buy PSTH in groups of 9 because you get max value for your warrants. Spacs are great because there in the inherit ability to maximize valuations and really make gains. BUT by making the biggest spac ever ($4 billion dollars) obviously by nature its gonna be hard to see your money double or even go up 50%.

GRAF has dipped 30% in the last week. Not sure if its prime time to get in or if its going to be a downward spiral.

pretty hard to compare SPACs like SHLL now to NKLA because nkla was still before SPACs blew up, and a lot of people who were in nkla are probably already in SHLL now...

seriously seems like a coin toss in terms of which way the price will go post merger

I wouldn't really care if it dropped to 4 as long as it returned to around 8 where it was earlier. At 4 I'm still breaking even.

Fair. I only sold initially because I didn't want the stress of having many positions. Work is brutal right now and I just don't have the stomach to deal with rocky portfolio AND take an L at work day in and day out. Anything I can do to lower my stress levels and avoid getting to the point of finding the biggest cliff to hurl myself off from is immensely helpful...

used the last 15k or so in my TOS account to buy SHLL, DPHC, and LCA today (commons and warrants). All down 3-8%. Guess Kramer said to sell half ur DPHC positions and it's gone down a ton today lol.

I agree but all youd have to do is scroll back in the investing thread to june and youd see Harry and I saying Nikola was a scam. The fact people are STILL buying is crazy. Also why I bowed out of GRAF and got into my newest 3 near redemption.
