Will be hard to screen tenants if so many have evictions on their records, landlords can request higher security deposits to offset. I know of at least two other landlords leaving units vacant because of the eviction moratorium, but inventory is still up especially in liberal sh!thole cities. Class action lawsuits are pending. The rich and those who can afford it are leaving cities and causing any homes under one million here to sell quickly, especially in safe white areas, but the net outflow may not be as dramatic as lower rents attract poorer tenants. Liberal cities QOL has suffered dramatically these past few months from the nightlife shutdown and riots and fireworks and rise in crime, and urban gentrified areas are losing their appeal.
