I think what Drew Brees said all along was pretty reasonable, his message was he will never support anyone disrespecting the flag, and that standing up with your hand over your heart during the anthem is unity. Not once did he say don't kneel, don't fight for social justice etc. Blows my mind how people can hate Drew Brees

All this did was make me realize how bored of the NFL I was. Same thing happened to the NBA awhile ago.
