They have a hybrid pad that is 10.25" on half and 12.25" on half. https://www.ironmaster.com/products/hybrid-bench-pad/ That would likely be nice as I can get the full ROM with dumbbells more easily while still benching flat with the better support.
It's difficult to go wrong with either of those fine benches, the Legend is a tank on wheels with nice adjustment angles that are a synch to adjust with the pop-pin throughout the years I had it I'm still finding ideal back and seat pad angles on it for various pieces of equipment.

The other great thing on the Legend is the personal color and frame choices as well (with solid colors it's naugahyde vinyl and for woodland and desert camo it's cordura)...a few other things you can add, but they cost extra is the head pad protector and also a 12" pad should you want one down the road.

You don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.

The crunch attachment works great (although they should upgrade the roller pads). The leg curl is serviceable. Not great by any stretch but OK as a space saver. Can’t speak about the other attachments.

Also, I don’t use it for flat bench. Pad is narrower than I like so that is personal preference.
I just read through this and would have made the same comments about the low seat. I'm 5'9" and like the lower seat when doing incline bench. My son's buddy lifts here and has no issues with the bench. He's 6'1".

I did get the hybrid pad and really love it. We use the wide end for flat bench and then narrow for incline bench. I also have wheels on both sides so it's easy move out of the rack regardless of which way it's facing. I do wish the wheels were a touch bigger to make it easier for my daughter to roll it back onto the platform, but it's lighter than the others I looked at, so it's not as hard to move as they would be.

I almost bought a Roger's bench used a year ago. That bench and the Cybex Big Iron bench have always looked awesome to me, but after trying a bunch of benches, I decided to buy the Ironmaster Pro, I'm really glad I did.

It's easy for my daughter to move it out of the rack and off the platform when she does squats.
    The pad height is low.
    There's no pad gap.
The seat portion doesn't move at all during bench or incline bench.
It's really inexpensive for how nice it is.

Cybex or Rogers are cooler. Ironmaster Pro is better for me.

I'll probably pick up the hybrid pad when it's back in stock, don't really 'need' too but it would be nice to have that 12.25" wide option.

I've decided on the Ironmaster super bench pro. Thanks for the additional feedback above. Seems like a great option for doing multiple exercises (with the attachments), a good height at 17.2" or so, the hybrid pad takes care of the width issue, and with wheels it should be very fiance-friendly. Thanks again to everyone, I'm very happy I made this thread.

Now I just need for it to get back in stock, lol.

I'm still tempted to go after the Rep AB-5000 bench for the reason that I want to try having only one bench in my gym for flat, incline and the very occasional decline. The zero gap just seems like a nice feature for flat bench. I've got too much **** in my basement gym and it's getting a little crowded down there.

Right now I have a hoist cf3165 that I don't like due to the narrow pad and height and rogue utility bench that i mainly like because it's so easy to move.

So in terms of true FID bench I am looking at these:

    rep-ab-5000 $499.00 + ab-5000-5100-leg-attachment $89.00
    ironmaster/super-bench-pro/ $369.00 + crunch-situp-attachment/ $69.00
    primefitnessusabench/ 675.00 + Decline AttachmentAssy,Acc,Decline, PS-AFB Add for $ 150.00
    titan.fitness/strength/benches/adjustable/max-adjustable-fid-bench $449.99
    rogue-ab-3-adjustable-bench $935.00

Best Price Titan Max Adjustable FID with the free shipping at $449.99.
Most Expensive would be the Rouge AB3 at $935 without shipping included.

What are your thoughts on these?
