I don't understand where this expectation of your date only talking/seeing you comes from. There will always be competition, what makes you so special that someone who has a lot of options will drop everyone else for you? Knowing that most new people you meet are not commit-able d/t lack of chemistry/values ect; it would be foolish to put all your eggs in one basket.

I don't care if the guy I go out with is seeing multiple girls. Until he asks for exclusivity I'm going to assume he's not serious about me so I'm not wasting any time on him.

It's not so much about seeing other people while you get to know each other and decide if you want to be in a relationship with that person, it's about having sex with multiple people. People who don't want STDs have every right to put it out there that they are not interested in having sex with someone who's having sex with others.

I agree with you on all accounts. I don't hate women at all, so perhaps it isn't fair of me to say sloots gon sloot when men sloot as well. I'm also damn near out of the sowing oats phase as well, but I still just think you have to have a different mindset & reality check these days.

also in perfect timing, this morning I woke up to a confirmation on social media that I am a side dude. I've intentionally cut every woman but this one off lately (because I'm highly attracted to her. would never date) but my belief that there is likely someone else in the picture has saved me from any potential pain & suffering.

Story of my life brother. As a man, if you are a catch, women will try SO HARD to make themselves appear innocent. I've saved myself a lot of drama by being able to spot subtle slip-ups. Been the side piece for too many women and it doesn't feel that great.

Well yeah just move on then, don't be emotionally invested until they prove to fit your standards and invest in you. It's pretty simple. Not everyone is out there sleeping around, but I do think people should be dating around to know what they want/don't want.

Of course it's simple to me, but not to a lot of people. I've already dated enough to know what I do and don't want.
