Should I continue bulking or cut?

Hi everyone, pics are below, so I’ve been working out for a little over a year. Been on a pretty intense bodybuilding program. I’ve had my fair share of injuries and inconsistencies, but I’m at a point now where I’ve been bulking for about 8 months now. The only fat I have appears to be midsection.

I’m at about 3500 cals daily. I have a 4 days split. Back bis, chest tris, leg, shoulders. I work in cardio when I can. Sessions are 2-2.5 hours long usually. Not trying to eat anymore cals. So I’d say 3500 is max for me. I do still have some imbalances, but they’re getting much better.

Just wondering if you think it’s ok to cut for the rest of the summer, then bulk back up. My macros are right around 40,30,30.

    Don't spam

But also solid progress, you could do either at this point but yes would imagine you'd look decent if you cut so if you want to do that then go ahead.

    Two tips:

Ignore macro ratios, they are a myth and irrelevant. Just hit your protein and fat minimums then do what you want with the rest

You do not need to spend 2-2.5 hours in the gym. You could likely get the same results with better recovery with a solid 1 hour program (unless you are training at very low intensity for those 2-2.5 hours or are 'enhanced')

Sorry about that, a lot of people weren’t going to my gallery and it wad very frustrating. They would just ask me to post them here.

Gotya, yea I am trying to lower the amount of time I’m at the gym, I just feel like an hour will only get me the bare minimum. Like I could probably do deadlifts, pulldowns and a row with one or two bicep exercises and doing that once a week just doesn’t feel like enough for me.

Do what you want to do. It’s not that big of a decision. Just don’t do either to the extreme.

I’d do a mini 4-6 week cut and jump on fierce 5 intermediate.

Ok I will jump on that after, I may go into September depending on where I am at that time. I’m going to carb cycle during this cut.
