But then again I'm a self-sufficient male in the private industry who understands the damage each policy will cause. I get why you'd vote Democrat, you're a union guy who benefits from larger government. Unfortunately, the rest of the country goes bankrupt in the process.

your minimum wage in the US is weird tho, in the UK is goes up every year, mostly a bit above inflation. Yours only changes at a federal level when its legislated to be changed. You should be able to afford most necessities on even the lowest wage imo.

Right now the US is the only non-busted country that doesn't offer any paid leave. Until FMLA was passed in 1993 you could be fired from your job for too much absence even if you had a medical need. FMLA guaranteed up to 12 weeks of unpaid leave without being fired, but your employer still might find other ways to wreck you over it.

Police posters here have justified the targeting of Blacks based on crime stats. I don't think what he said was untrue, especially considering he was referring to Dave. Dave doesn't think very highly of poor Chicago communities, he will tell you himself.

I'm alright with DACA children staying, not parents or any other family members attached to them. Part of DACA was the cutoff of 2007, so it has been 13 years.The vast majority should be above 18 years old at this point. And if not, find a host family or a legal family member to take you in.

I'm also alright with minimum wage increases, although I don't understand why everyone does it so ****ing poorly. It should be common sense that the minimum wage should differ from state-to-state, area-to-area etc. Not a flat "$15!". In some places you couldn't buy a box to live in with that, and in other places you could live a very functional life. And it should adjust with inflation once we fix it so I don't have to hear people bitching again in a year or two.

In other words, the FBI crime stats don’t fit the racist narrative, so police posters are automatically racist for using actual data in retaliation to the narrative...
