    Which Incline Press Degree?

When incline pressing, either with a barbell or dumbbells, what degree of incline do you use?

    30? 45? 60?

My personal favorites are 45 and 60.

Assuming already doing an OHP, whatever 1-3 notches is (15-45 degrees probably).

Single notch on bench (doesn't have an angle rating) but i would estimate about 20-30 deg.

Have never found more than that to be necessary, I prefer chest > delts activation

30 for DBs, 45 for BB because that's the angle of the bench. Pecs > delts for benching

One or two notches on the incline bench. I think it's about 15-30 degrees. At 45° or higher it feels like it's all shoulders to me.

30-45..60 is too much imo, more of a shoulder press at that point lol

15 for chest, 60 for delts/some upper chest is my favorite.

I say 15 becuse I never do flat, definitely prefer low incline, but the standard barbell bench angle is fine too

I also like a very slight incline for flat benching. It actually helps when you're in a squat rack and using the safeties. You can set the safeties just below chest height and then if you happen to get stapled, you're actually able to just roll the bar down your chest a few inches and the safeties will catch it.

I also like 60 for upper chest. It feels really good on those upper pecs if you maintain a slight back arch and really focus in.
