Anyone had an experience with the Prime Fitness Single Stack? Both the pin selector and plate version seem solid.
My only concern is the quality of the cables and pulleys. I dont have any experience with this company, and can't find many reviews online.
The idea of a fixed lat pulldown AND adjustable cable column in one machine, is perfect for my home gym setup.
Anyone have any input on this company or these specific units?
Thanks,
Adam

No experience with that piece but Prime is respected as a top tier manufacturer in the business. They were Strive before with the same reputation. Some of their pieces are best in class or very close to top.

Haven't been able to "rep" many of you for a year or more...not for lack of trying.

I recently got a quote on the selectorized single stack.
One thing to keep in mind is the adjustable pulley has a 2:1 ratio, so you are limited to 175lbs resistance on that one (upper pulley is fixed 1:1). Should be fine for most things, but could be limiting when doing low rows depending on your strength level.
Also the footprint is a little larger than I wanted.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I will try to reach out to Adam from Garage Gym Lab, and see if he has any insight to share.
C123C - I have definitely heard they are top notch, I just wish I could find more info, and not paid marketing videos. Just raw, real people sharing their experience with the machines.
Big Steve - I was tracking on the ratios, but thanks for the heads-up. I asked for a quote today on the plate loaded version, for that very reason. I don't want to limit my rows to the 175 on the selector version. Did you only get a quote, or did you go ahead and pull the trigger on it? My biggest fear is the cables and/or pulleys are not top notch, and the feel and smoothness will not be to my liking. Depending on the price I get in the quote, I might have to drive my happy ass 6 hours to PA just to test drive it out before I drop that kind of cash.
Time will tell...But, I do purchase it, I will update with pics and a review. Just to help anyone else out that follows in my path. : )
