Agreeed, and after switching to air-fryer fries, even regular ones with just ketchup don't sound good to me.
I often feel like the odd man out in that oily things just do NOT have any appeal... ever. There's just something off-putting about coating my mouth and hands in grease, etc, that I have now but didn't have when I was younger.
It's not a fat content thing at all... i'll crush non-oil fats no issue... but something about oil just makes me nauseous in anything but very small amounts. I suppose I almost see oil as the table sugar of the fat world... i'd rather eat the foods containing the oil/sugar instead of the oil or sugar itself."When I die, I hope it's early in the morning so I don't have to go to work that day for no reason"

I’m the EXACT same way. The sad thing is, fast food french fries used to be one of my absolute favorite foods. I’m talking top 5. Nowadays, I literally never eat them and don’t even consider eating them because they totally nauseate me. They’ve had no appeal to me for at least 5-6 years. I love fries in the air fryer, but I think my body’s just so accustomed to associating grease with nausea that commercial fries for the most part may as well be sticks of cardboard. I kinda wish I still could eat them and enjoy them because I used to love them & so many people can’t get enough, but then I just remember that they’re almost completely devoid of nutrients & are absolutely terrible for your health & it makes me feel better lol
