here comes the pain was greatness. the controls/response time was so crisp. loved the damage meter showing how you're working the legs/head etc.

raw vs SD 07 stands out in my mind, i don't know how different it was vs 06 or 08 but for whatever reason i have really fond memories of that game. i believe that was when i first started playing online and it was so competitive.

for nostalgia purposes my other choices would be;
WCW/NWO Revenge
WWF No Mercy
WWF Raw (Sega Genesis)

WWE 12 and 13 were where I got the most enjoyment out of them. I've played 2k14 2k16 and 2k17 but got bored quickly. I liked the sandbox GM mode where you could book shows and whatnot. I just wished they let you script matches out in that mode as well.

Revenge, no mercy and wrestlemania 2000 were all on the same level of goatness for me.
World tour is right there. The Japanese and hardcore legends in that game are a nice touch.

Here Comes the Pain is the best wrestling game in my opinion and it isn't even close!
Many editions of SmackDown! vs. RAW series are great both gameplay wise and because of the general manager modes.

WCW Revenge was the first wrestling game I played at my cousins place and he gave it to me (so I placed that for nostalgia reasons, despite never watching a live WCW show ever in my life lol).

Here comes the pain on ps2 was the best of all times. You could do so much stuff, running powerbombs out of the ring etc. You could set up a table outside the ring and do a running powerbomb right through it. you could put ladders on top of commentator tables n shet. then also, you could climb up on to the smackdown fist and jump off of it.

Anybody play Fire Pro Wrestling World? I'm looking at buying it but there's a lot of pricey DLC. The one DLC makes it sound like you can't download community creations like custom wrestlers and whatnot without buying the DLC, is this true?
