    Lead in Supplements Question

Hello, I've been taking Nature's Way Maca Root capsules for about 2 months and have noticed a very positive effect. Most of the positive effects described, I can say that experienced for sure.

That said, I have a question about contamination. I've read articles about herbal lead contamination, especially for those harvested across seas. Does anyone know anything about dangerous amounts of lead in Maca root? The only reliable resources I could find was a report on Consumerlabs but the website is hidden behind a paywall.

    Thanks for your time,
    Jim

It's impossible to say that there is X amount in all Maca supplements, it depends on where it was grown and if the manufacturer did any testing
    My secret? Texting between sets.

It's mostly grown in Peru, I was wondering if anyone else had some information about contamination for these specific herbs. Was curious if anyone had any info on this for Nature's Way Maca Root?
