Bro your sht is on a different level. Congrats for tapering and getting away. RIP.
Addiction replaced with addiction. We're happy for you bro. Same time, have you addressed the issues that drive your addiction in any way?
in b4 I've seen a 22yo 1day graduate therapist and they didn't understand me so I'm doing my own game445/340/545

You helped me out today. Thank you. You improved one persons life which is more than most can say.
Would eat booty for thanks lmao.
The physical withdrawal. Seizures and DTs suck, it’s difficult to sit there feeling one coming on and knowing a beer will take it away even though it’s temporary.
It fukking sucks.
Try a handle :/

im an alcoholic too. been sober since the 25th. how was your experience with phenibut, ive been using it too to get a relaxing buzz without booze. kinda worried im abusing it though. were withdrawals that bad for you from phenibut? i stopped taking it for awhile and had insomnia but thats it. congrats on a month

Maybe I'll have a virgin version. I love the taste: It's like lemonade!
Wow, a handle is a lot. It would take me three days to drink a handle.
Pick a time where you don't have to work for 5 days. This is the time when you will focus on getting sober.
Alcohol withdrawal is like hiking the Appalachian Trail. Phenibut withdrawal is like climbing Mount Everest. If all you had was insomnia, great. However, the more relapses you have, the worse the withdrawals get. It's like digging a deep hole...it's harder to climb out every time.

Dasit
Start today. The whole waiting for the 1st or whatever is a clever way to just put it off.
Haven’t had a drink in...tomorrow will be 3 months, I think. I had been drinking daily for several years before I took a break. I haven’t lost any real weight, but I don’t tend to be heavy anyway. I‘ve for sure noticed more mental clarity and I feel physically better. My eyes are clear, skin is better, sleep is WAY better.
GJ OP, we’re all gonna make it.MFC
drum, it holds fifty, uh

Just finished today's hour-long morning walk. Got 2.7 miles in today. Didn't feel like doing it but the brick must be laid.
Unless you can find a reason to get up in the morning - and support that reason like a scaffold supports a tall beam - you are not ready.
Weight loss pushes me. You must answer your questions to refute the doubts of others.

I'm on Day 3 (first time I've been on day 3 since probably April)
Feels really good.... because when I'm not drinking, so many parts of my life improve:
-Diet
-Sleep
-Workouts
-Professionally (I'm in sales - the amount of anxiety I get before a presentation, a sales call, etc. goes WAY down when I've been sober for a bit)
-Sense of wellbeing (way less anxiety, depression, anything like that)
Goal is to keep it going until mid-August, right before my 34th birthday.
