Not drinking is easy. Being around others though and not drinking when that’s all they want to do is hard. People will think you’re weird, that you’re elitist, that you’re insulting them, etc. have had drinks the last 4 days from the holiday weekend and wasn’t a fan.
Going back to the gym could already tell had rust to shake off

Thanks for the input. It's also odd how they mentioned staving off on the exercise. I highly recommend making it a priority.
Just have a sip for the flavor and tell them you don't like it. If they offer to buy you your favorite beer, just say you're not in the mood anymore.
Awesome! If you go back to drinking even one wine glass, you'll get the acid reflux again. You may not even feel buzzed.
Where did I say that?
Great. Eminem's more than a decade sober now.

Every Sunday I have a cheat day when I can eat whatever I want. I've been toning it down recently because my body can't tolerate using crud for fuel on Monday morning workouts.
I decided to buy pizza yesterday for me and the gf's family. Her sister wanted me to get a 4pk of beer so we could all share it.
Blueberry Lemonade is its name. Sounds like it tastes great! But that's all I wanted, a taste. Each beer would set me back 300 calories or an hour's walk so no way, Jose.
I got a small tea cup and sampled the beer. Unfrotunately, my expectations were inflated and it tasted like waste.
It was a small sample so I think I only drank 20 calories based on an estimate. I passed by the fridge several times yesterday to get ice cream and cake because it was recently my birthday.
The beers may as well have been rocks because I had no desire to open one. There they stayed!
All I can say is free will exists over fate. I just worked out and had a great set of sprints by the bay.
I use magnesium citrate. It works like a charm!
Eggs also contain plenty of cysteine; I have 3 a day.

I’m currently tapering now from 13 to 12 then goal is to get to 6 a day. I have clarity now because I’m using beer and not hard stuff. It’s easier by the day but it feels almost like a form of phenibut leaving your body. It gets easier. I pray to get over the cravings but I feel better than my usual 20-25 drinks a day.

Gj OP!!
I cut way down on the beer last week because my slow cut plateaued (because beer). Just three days of 2-4 beers instead of 12-14 and i dropped 3.5 pounds. Was feelin like a champ on day three also. Then holiday weekend and i fukked it all up. Lol
Starting over again today. This sunday will be the first day ive been under 200# in at least 6 years. Started slow cut pre rona and 235#. Was 201 yesterday. .Distal Biceps Tendon tear crew. (07/15/19)

I almost can't remember those days since it feels so long since I have done them! You've made a lot of progress. Keep it up! You can also replace the second and tenth beers with a Lacroix water.
Get running. Your first day, you will feel like your body is going to break down but persevere through it. It's only because you're overweight so your body will know to shed those pounds quickly if you keep doing it.
Start with mid-paced runs and have fun at it.
That's an impressive loss of 35lbs in two months. No beer/alcohol will make that easier.
The cheat day before this one I went ham on the...ham. ate a lot of fried pork and foods. Lots of dessert...great stuff every once in a while, like every holiday or so. I wouldn't feel too bad.
Congratulations. That is a disciprine!

Day 1, 8 hours in: strong seizures preventing sleeping. 16 hours in: overstimulated to the point that I work out for 3 hours in the hot sun to quell it. Feeling great from a runner's high.
Day 2, morning: fatigue, presumably from yesterday's workout.
Day 2, afternoon: feeling tired and a lack of confidence
Day 3: Mood boost. Slept for 4 2-hour intervals from 9 to 6. I feel more refreshed, but still not at my best.
Day 3, afternoon: brain fog, so went for a light workout. I ended up sleeping for 12 hours, from 6 pm to 6 am, but I woke up to use the restroom every hour.
Day 4: In the morning I went for a walk and some calisthenics. I listened to Elliott Hulse and Corey Wayne. I bought the week's groceries and paid most of my rent money, paying the last $40 today. I feel okay.
Day 5: Rest day. I have less energy than usual, but little anxiety. Afternoon: Minor headache but otherwise feel normal.
Day 6: feeling normal.
By the time you arrive on rehab on Thursday - three days from now - the worst will have already passed. After that it's a matter of implementing a workout routine. I would start off by running.
