Congrats dude. I just went 8 months, and recently cracked. Kinda pissed at myself but eh, weather was nice and just wanted to have one drink.
Over those 8 months I got in the best shape of my life, lost 40lbs, picked up some great hobbies and saved a **** ton of money. Definitely will only be drinking a couple times a year and trying my best to never get drunk or go back to the life I had.
**** alcohol

Great job. Do you think you will continue? I have had two drinks total since December, the last of which was in March. Biggest thing I noticed was the lack of brain fog, and just better mental clarity in general. Like I feel a bit sharper. Also less bloat, puffy cheeks, and clearer skin. I don't think I will completely abstain forever, but I have no motivation to get hammered ever again.

It's similar to NoPorn.
Sober month is ezpz. Not once did I even think about alcohol...I have become obsessed with losing weight.
I don't plan on being sober forever. See post 11.
I don't drink because of the calories. One beer will set me back an hour of walking.
Ain't no one got time for that.
No. The seizures last a day or two and that's it.
Just weather the storm bro.
