    Losing fat. Tips?

Hello guys. I'm a Basketball athlete hoping to lose weight. I've lifted for 2 years.

My stats are 6'1 240 lbs
    My lifts are
    Bench 245
    Deadlift 365
Squats 300 all one rep max

I eat 2000 calories a day to lose a bit more weight. My maintenance should've been at 2800 calories so I cut 800.

What I eat mostly are Steak, Beef and Pork Korean. With a bit of rice.

If possible I want to cut to 220 lbs by 2 months

IF your calorie counting and deficit is correct. That would be a deficit of 5600 calories a week, or 44,800 over 8 weeks. That would, in theory, result in a 12.8 pound loss, plus maybe a little water weight. MAYBE 15 pounds...

Dude. You say you want to lose 20 pounds in 2 months. I point out that you are not eating at a high enough deficit to do that and ypu come back and say you will REDUCE the deficit? (Meaning you'll lose even less...)

To lose 20 pounds of fat in two months would require you to be in a calorie deficit of 1,166.66 calories per day.

So if you really want to hit that number, then you basically need to increase your deficit by an additional 400 calories per day over what it currently is.

If you understand, you're trolling. You're moving in the wrong direction.

Your maintenance calories are well over 3000 at that size if you are an athlete. 2000 calories a day may just get you there.
All it takes is consistency, effort, proper nutrition, good programming, and TIME.
