    Do you count fiber in your macros, when taken as a supplement?

    So I take metamucil a couple times a day to keep things regular on such a high protein diet. Do I need to log this? It's sugar free. But it's still carbs, right?

    I mean, it lists however many carbs it has, but the thing is that dietary fiber goes right through you. So I'm not sure if you should count it or not.

    It's 20 calories per serving apparently but instead of getting your fibre through a supplement you should really add more veg to your diet

    Whatever you do, be consistent. I don't use fiber to drop net carbs when calculating macros. Can you? Sure. Many food products do just that. I prefer to slightly overestimate my calories, especially when dieting for weight loss.
