    1995 F-150 Tire recommendations

    Sup Guys

I have a 1995 F-150 XLT (2wd), after all these years I am finally adding a 2in front end level.

I have the stock 15in rims.

Im looking for tire recommendations, the biggest I can go after the level are 32's I think.

Was looking at yokohama geolander mt G003 31/10.5R15.

I see toyo open country a/t or m/t absolutely everywhere. (also BF Goodrich KO 2s). So I dont really want them.

Any recommendations on what you have or have used?

Will have mostly road use but still need a decent tire to reach hunting and fishing spots.

I put the new Cooper AT3 XLT’s on my Tundra and really like them. Have always had great luck with Cooper tires. They roll super smooth, quiet, balance easy, light for an AT tire, and look great.

Have BFG KO2’s on my work Tahoe. They have good traction, and are wearing well for around 60k miles. They however don’t balance well, and howl at highway speeds.

The new Toyo Open Country AT3’s just came out, and would be my choice if I was buying tires today. Overall improvement on the AT2’s (which are great tires), and now with 3 peak snow rating.

My buddy runs a Nitto - Ridge Grappler on his wrangler and loves it. It's a good suv/truck tire that is basically a hybrid AT/MT.

I run the Cooper - STT Pro's on my wrangler...i daily drive it and the tires handle well on and off road...they do make road noise though.

I also run the BFG AT's on my duramax that i do haul with and they handle really well on the street and have a decently aggressive look to them.

Lots of praise for Falken tires on the overlanding sites. I'll probably put a set on my Tacoma next.

On the topic of Nitto tires, my Pro 4Runner came stock with Nitto Terra Grapplers and have been very impressed with them. Quiet, look great, and was blown away at how good they were on snow/ice while having the vehicle in 2wd.

    This
Just had a set of MT01s on my last truck and had zero complaints. 20k miles and they looked nearly brand new tread depth wise.
The Wildpeak AT3Ws seem like a great choice as well. Usually all much more affordable than bfg or toyo
