Opinions on Troy's urethane plates
Looking for a set of urethane plates. These supposedly have +/- 2% accuracy.
I found a 345 lbs set for $1150 shipped. (4) 45’s, (2) 35’s, (2) 25’s, (2) 10’s, (4) 5’s, (2) 2.5’s
Anyone recommend this brand?

I can't answer about the urethane plates, but I have some machined steel plates by Troy; the quality is excellent and the weight tolerance is as advertised.

I have some OLD rubber coated Troy plates. Tolerance is excellent. They’ll probably last another decade or longer.

Can't vouch for the price, but as others said, Troy is solid. I've got Urethane and steel troy plates, but all were bought used for dirt cheap.
