Bulk or Cut at around 20% bf? (pics included for accurate advice)

    5'6"
    180 lbs.
TDEE calculators online average out to somewhere between 2300-2600 for maintenance.
I haven't tested body fat% in awhile but last I checked I was around 20-22%.
Ideally would like to be around 155-160 at 10%

Not a novice lifter, have been lifting for years but have developed an undesirable physique throughout the drinking and partying. No clue if I should bulk, cut, cardio, keto, etc. etc.

    Help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks.

It's hard to get a sense of your musculature with the photos taken from too close in. "Not a novice lifter" isn't much help either.

    Regardless, I would cut.

    Too fat to bulk.

    Lose the fat first.

another pic attached if it helps any.

Ive never done a cut or bulk before but ive always gone to the gym and lifted weights.

I went from being real skinny (140 lbs.) years ago and then developed muscle and had a nice physique and eventually that all turned into fat and here I am now.

On a cut do you lift less weight frequently or up the cardio?
    I really am not aware.

Panning back isn't helpful if you cover up everything except your stomach. You haven't said what your programming is.

I haven't done any program brother.

Been trying to just lift weights, do 45 minutes cardio, and eat in a deficit to lose this fat.
Weight maintains the same tho and i've been stuck in a hamster wheel.

So... You are basically a "novice" lifter in that you have never followed any type of structured plan at all.

You need to cut to about 13% bodyfat. Lift on a proven program. And eat in a 500 calorie deficit loosing 1lb per week.

I would start with fierce 5 (fast progression) for three to four Months. Make sure you reset and deload like the program calls for (under very prescribed conditions. Program tells you)

Then switch to AllPro or some other program With slower progression

Switch to bulk 250 surplus (1lb every 2 weeks) when you get to your desired bodyfat.
