The brick and mortar 3 letter has finally filed. I'm surprised they lasted this long to be honest with you. I used to love going through there (20-30 yrs ago) as it was the only place to buy supps in person and the place was like a candy store to me. Now I see them as JC Penney and I haven't been in one for a good 10-15 years.
Am I happy to see a business go under? Absolutely not; it's just the changing times.
I will say, however, I called my local this morning and was very candid in asking, "With this recent turn of events, do you have any good sales or closeouts going on?" (I know; I'm an ambulance chaser when it comes to supp deals)
Answer was "nope"
Ok, I would have thought they would have at least put them on sale for what you can buy the same elsewhere....

When a company files for 11 it gives them a chance to restructure.
If they really do go under, they will have a liquidators do the clear out of inventory. That sounds like a time for deals, but the liquidators will start the sale at MSRP, not what they may have been when the actual company owned it.
So any actual money saving won't start til later.

Shame. So many will now never know the experience of buying over priced and under dosed products peddled by people who can't even pronounce the ingredients correctly from an actual store.
Just on line shills to get them now.Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.
