Smile Whey Protein - B/Building, My Protein or Gold Standard?

    Hey guys,

Looking for some new protein. I currently use Gold Standard but read mixed reviews on all 3 of the above?

What do you guys use? I am currently vegetarian so ideally need a Whey in order to help boost up the protein numbers!

    Cheers

You don’t need whey to boost a diet because you’re vegetarian but that’s by the by.

Pick whatever fits your budget and taste.

It's difficult to fit the protein quota without meat though. And I dont want to fill up on unnecessary stuff if that makes sense?

It isn’t, I’ve been veggie for 6 years, you just need to plan your meals properly.

Eggs, nuts, milk, tofu, seitan, cheese etc.

Indeed. You're not using Google. This just isn't that hard.

Currently using MyProtein Whey Isolate, the second-best protein on Labdoor. I'd choose MyProtein over B/B and Gold Standard in a heartbeat. I've been getting great results from MyProtein along with regular workouts and healthy nutrition habits.

    A) LOL @ Labdoor
    B) Claiming that Brand X is giving you great results vs Brand is ridiculous. This is like saying, "I've been getting great results from Chicken." Protein powder is just powdered food. It's not giving you great results.

I didn't say anything about putting all my eggs in one basket. That's why I said I'm getting good results with MyProtein in conjunction with good nutrition and regular training.

To each his own. I'd never buy supplements with fillers such as carrageenan or artificial food colourings. Labdoor has been spot on for the most part, and I'll continue to refer to it.

I didn't say you did say anything eggs in a basket. I said that a protein powder didn't give you great results. It's just powdered food. Any powdered food or non-powdered food with the same calories and macros would do the same thing.

Lol. Spot on how? Do I dare bring the thread of threads back up to the top where the CEO of Labdoor at the time gets destroyed for **** logic and basically giving higher grades to spiked protein powders? You can buy what you want, but those ingredients don't make the powder better nor worse than any other necessarily.
