I've recently started working out more and am somewhat interested in competing at the amateur level, specifically in the men's physique division. The npc emerald cup is a show that interests me. The physique competitors don't seem super roided up and it seems achievable natty, not to mention its decently close to where I live. I looked online to try and find information on how they did the weight classes for men's physique, but I couldn't find anything. Does anyone know what the weight a 5' 9" or a 5' 10" competitor should be? This is somewhat of a far off goal, and for what's currently just a hobby, might not end up working out. But it would be nice to have a more well defined idea of what my goals are. I know this is a somewhat specific question and understand if you guys cant give great advice. Any help is appreciated. thanks in advance

It's really going to vary due the the extreme amount of weight lost to get really peeled. It all depends on how lean you want to get. When I was competing in physique, really I was too lean for that category. But in my avi, I was 150 on the button, 5'9" and maybe 6%
So I would come in around 154-156 at 8-9% , to give you some idea2017 OCB Men's Physique Open 4th place
